A new month with a new Sleeping Beauty, raising the class of the magazine a little with some style and aesthetic appeal!

Evelyn Rouge is a "full time not very successful artist" who works and experiments in everything from print to photography and also models, and is looking for a fabulously rich husband. We've had a whip around the office and come up with £22 and a GAME reward card.

Evelyn is accomplished and certainly a character; in her own words...

I am a 19 year old with a small obsession for tea partys with tea and cake (jasmine tea is my tea of choice this month and my home-made Greek yohgahrt and honey cake), shoots with me tend to be more emphasis on fun and creativity than a "work" type experience. Alough that said, im somehow becoming quite popular in the fetish circles (im thinking its the cake).

Im not afraid of my own skin, I like running about naked.
My hair is naturally this red.
I am afraid of stuffed animals.
I'm an artist (Joan of Arc).
I like tea.
Religious iconography interests me.
I collect broken pocket watches.
I like photos that look like stills from films.

(SWM) Thanks for joining the ranks of Sleeping Beauties! How has April treated you?

(ER) Thank you for having me mi dear. April has been a good month thank you! Filled with many party's and long nights, interviews and general craziness. It has been quite a quiet month for shoots as May is set to be as busy as hell! Highlights have been: interview for the Glasgow School of Art, the group shoot with the gorgeous lady's of UKPM (www.photo-models.co.uk) in le buff! and my shoot with the lovely Azrelle! (www.azrelle.co.uk)

(SWM) Your modelling style focuses on your classic looks which are reminiscent of 40s-50s glamour chic. Do you have an attachment to that era and style, or have you gone where the work takes you?

(ER) Hmm, a mix of both. Glamour lives on, in many different ways and like most magpies I'm drawn to shiny and nice things the 40's and 50's is Iconic, and I do love my Icons. But yes, alot of people seem to want me for this type of work, its hip and "in" and im not complaining!
Plus I have a love of history and an addiction to tiny waists and big skirts!

(SWM) You say you want to be a model for eye glasses and hats! Any reason apart from that being an awesome idea?

(ER) Ha, my sense of humour creeps in! Two reasons: if I could do that as a full time job that be bloody ridiculously fantastic! Second: im not pushy, if I get jobs in the modelling industry then great if not then so be it, so I picked two things I adore but have a small market for models. I'm a niche, these things are niche. We fit together like jam on a white bread sandwich (at the beach, on a sunny day... oh im getting carried away and perhaps making no sense...)

(SWM) What does Evelyn Rouge do for fun? Is there a favourite tipple, smoke or type of movie for guaranteed satisfaction?

(ER) A lady never tells... haha! For fun, oh I scribble away in sketchbooks, take photos of unsuspecting people on the street, run around naked, dress up, sniff old books, talk to eccentrics, lie in bed all day, design tattoos, talk to my cats and oh! of course, bump into good fellows such as yourself! Oh gosh, many things. Buy me a drink and ill tell you more, you will usually find me in the cellars, Glasgow on Friday or Saturday evenings.

Films films, I suggest for your lovely gorgeous readers they go out this instant and watch a film called Taxidermia if they have not done so already.

(SWM) On the shopping list it goes! So where are you going next? What does the future hold? What number am I thinking of?

(ER) I mean that question is so vague! How am I to answer?!Tomorrow precisely I am going to Edinburgh to go to two peoples birthday party's at precisely the same time, on occasion I wish I had a twin. Today precisely I am going to bed next as it is late. In the future, hmm I do not know precisely I may move to either Glasgow or London for study (art) and drink far too much, fall in love far too easly and be poor.

In the future for everyone else I do not know either, if I did I would be charging in a circus and I would have a banner saying "Evelyn the mysterious fortune teller "  "only  £10".

127, as 127 is the best number ever and if your not thinking of that number you have something wrong with your noggin good sir.

(SWM) How did you know?! *pays £10*
